To drive our growth and evolve, as an organisation we are recruiting for a salesperson in the South-East and South area. This area includes Reading, Southampton, Portsmouth, Guildford, Redhill, Brighton, Tonbridge, Maidstone, Canterbury, Dartford and South London. Sales experience is not required, but an interest in engineering, working digitally, customer relations, and problem-solving is required.
Job Description:
You will visit, either in person or digitally, a range of our customers and prospective customers to discuss, understand and solve problems, applying our market-leading products and engineering capability to provide exceptional solutions. igus is a leading polymer bearing and energy chain systems manufacturing company in the UK. This role covers the the-chain side of our business.
Job Responsibilities:
· Supporting existing customers
· Generating new business and being proactive
· Project work
· Using our CRM system to plan your working week efficiently
· Finding engineering solutions to customer requirements
Skills Required:
· Digitally competent and able to analyse customer data via dashboards
· An inquisitive and problem-solving approach
· An interest or experience in engineering (e.g., are you intrigued about the way things work?)
· Excellent communicator to build relationships with customers
· Ability to self-manage your week whilst maintaining high productivity levels
· Understands and leverages the benefits of AI to support the future of work in a modern, evolving workplace
