About The Role
As Sales Manager, youll be responsible for managing and developing a high-performing team of New Business-focused Business Development Managers (BDMs). Youll coach, guide, and support them to secure new opportunities, close deals, and exceed individual and team targets. Your focus will be on building a successful sales culture, ensuring KPIs are met, and driving revenue and profit growth through strategic leadership and day-to-day management.
What you will be doing
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of BDMs to consistently achieve sales targets.
- Support the team in identifying, progressing and closing new business opportunities.
- Assist in the development and implementation of training and development plans.
- Monitor and report on individual and team performance, ensuring KPIs and monthly targets are achieved.
- Collaborate with marketing and technical teams to generate leads and deliver tailored solutions to prospective clients.
- Join client and prospect meetings across Scotland as required to support the sales team.
- Work closely with the Sales Director to forecast, plan, and deliver against sales strategies.
- Build a strong internal culture of accountability, performance and continuous improvement.
Skills And Experience
- Proven experience in managing a high-performing B2B sales team, ideally in the IT services, MSP or cyber security space.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills with a track record of developing talent.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Results-driven, with a strong understanding of the sales process and pipeline management.
- Confident in client-facing situations and experienced in assisting with deal closure.
- Commercially aware with the ability to interpret performance metrics and drive continuous improvement.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across Scotland.

Location and Working Arrangements
Reporting to the Sales Director, you will be based at our Glasgow office (office-based 5 days per week) with travel as required.
Hours of Work
Full time (37.5 hours per week), Monday to Friday.
