Sales Manager

They are a planet-friendly business delivering exceptional technical solutions to the manufacturing, packaging, labelling and food & beverage industries. The Role

As our Sales Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind our sales team’s performance. You’ll lead daily huddles, coach through role-plays, hold the team accountable to KPIs, and ensure every customer interaction is purposeful and productive. You’ll also play a key role in recruitment, onboarding, and developing a high-performing sales culture. Typically you will be managing the internal office sales function 3 days a week and supporting field sales 2 days a week.

Key Duties

• Leading daily team huddles and celebrating wins
• Training and coaching your team.
• Conducting regular 1-2-1s and performance reviews
• Driving your own sales activity to lead by example.
• Ensuring CRM and pre-visit planning forms are used effectively
• Managing qualification pipelines and setting SMART goals

About You

• You’re a confident communicator who leads from the front
• You’re highly organised and love planning for success
• You’re proactive, results-driven, and thrive on accountability
• You’re comfortable with CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools
• You have strong product knowledge in adhesives or similar sectors (inks, coatings, packaging) or you understand technical sales with a longer selling cycle

Preferred Experience

• Proven sales background, ideally with formal sales training
• Experienced solution seller ideally from a technical background.
• Experience hiring, managing, and developing teams
• Strong geographical knowledge for travel planning

Benefits

Salary £50,000 - £65,000 DOE + Uncapped Bonus + Car Allowance
