We’re expanding our Baby Products division (e.g., breast pumps,) in the UK market and seeking a driven Sales Manager to accelerate growth, leveraging insights from top brands like Elvie, Momcozy, Medela, and Tommee Tippee.
Key Responsibilities:
Revenue Growth & Market Expansion
- Develop and execute the UK sales strategy for Anker’s baby products portfolio, targeting key channels: retail (Amazon, Boots, John Lewis), DTC, healthcare (NHS partnerships), and specialty baby stores.
- Achieve quarterly sales targets and market share growth, benchmarking performance against competitors (e.g., Elvie’s premium positioning, Momcozy’s DTC agility).
Retail & Distribution Partnerships
- Lead negotiations with major UK retailers and distributors, securing shelf space and promotional support.
- Identify white-space opportunities (e.g., expanding into pharmacy chains like Superdrug or subscription models).
Market Intelligence
- Analyze competitor activities (e.g., Medela’s clinical partnerships, Tommee Tippee’s mass-market dominance) to refine pricing, promotions, and product assortments.
- Provide feedback to HQ on local trends, regulatory requirements (UKCA/CE), and product improvements.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work with marketing to localize campaigns (e.g., leveraging UK parenting influencers, mom communities).
- Partner with supply chain to ensure inventory alignment with demand peaks (e.g., seasonal gifting periods).
Requirements:
- Experience: 5+ years in UK sales within baby/maternal products, consumer tech, or healthcare devices.
- Track Record: Proven success launching products or scaling sales with retailers (e.g., Argos, Mothercare, Ocado).
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of UK baby market dynamics, purchasing behaviors, and compliance standards.
- Skills:
- Strong negotiation and relationship management (retailer/ distributor networks).
- Data-driven (Excel, Salesforce, Nielsen/IRI analytics).
- Entrepreneurial mindset with agility to test new channels.
