Role description
The mission of the M&P Development Manager is to work with the wider Habasit sales team to drive and develop direct sales across the northwest of England focusing on manufacturing/packaging industries. The postholder will drive continuous improvement of revenues and margin in the defined sales territory by focusing on key products and segments. This role will have a strong focus on developing new business, therefore the ideal candidate will have a proven track record in building relationships with new customers as well as effective account management.
Your main challenges
- To lead business generation in the region
- Ownership of the Customer experience delivered
- To provide timely and professional documentation of activities and results against the agreed schedule of objectives
- To drive and deliver continuous feedback on the marketplace for the benefit of the business as a whole
- To represent the business as an ambassador and to be held in the highest regard in terms of professionalism and integrity at all times
- Systematic planning and implementation of effective (quality) and efficient (quantity) customer calls
- Presentations and practical demonstrations of solutions and products, negotiations, if required also on-site handling of customer complaints

Education And Experience
- Commercial acumen and a proven record in B2B Sales ideally within the relevant target market
- Excellent communication skills, self-motivated, the ability to plan and prioritise workloads
- A confident individual with excellent networking and interpersonal skills
- The ability to understand engineering issues relevant to the products and services offered
- Commonplace IT tools and CRM abilities
- Experience of working in an external sales role covering a specific market and key accounts
