Overview of role

The Sales Operations Specialist will play a key role in streamlining and optimising sales processes, supporting the sales team, managing sales incentive programmes, and enabling data-driven decision-making to maximise performance. You will also take ownership of the sales technology stack primarily the HubSpot CRM ensuring it is effectively managed, developed, and continuously improved, while maintaining the quality and accuracy of all data.


We’re looking for a proactive, forward thinking individual who will champion change and actively identify opportunities for improvement helping to drive positive change across the function.


Responsibilities and key tasks


Business Partnering

  • Analyse sales data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and growth, and deliver insightful reporting to leadership and sales teams as required
  • Collaborate with our Commercial team and Leadership, supporting them with key initiatives that drive business growth
  • Support the Marketing team on launching campaigns utilising HubSpot data


Sales Processes and Technology

  • Provide ongoing support and enablement to the sales team through effective sales processes and tools
  • Manage Peach HubSpot CRM platform, ensuring improvements, adoption and data quality
  • Deliver CRM training on managing leads, pipeline, deals, data management best practices
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop and implement effective sales strategies


Sales Incentive Plan and Commissions Accounting

  • Support the annual sales incentive plan design, communication and sales training
  • Manage quarterly data gathering for sales incentive plan and support the commissions accounting
  • Support queries on outcomes and improve reporting solutions


Continuous improvement and Collaboration

  • Triaging internal workflows with our Finance and Product teams as appropriate
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams (e.g. Sales, Growth, Product, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance) on implementing initiatives that drive revenue
  • Provide training and support to commercial team as needed
  • Keep up to date on industry trends, competitor activity and market shifts to inform sales strategy


Experience required

  • Proven experience in Sales Operations or Sales Support
  • Strong track record in sales performance analysis and reporting
  • Experience with HubSpot, Salesforce or other CRM systems


Skills required

  • Sales Operations certification or related field
  • Proficient in HubSpot CRM and advanced user of Google Office suites
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to partner and work collaboratively with various stakeholders across the globe and influence rapid business outcomes
  • Can do attitude, highly organised, deadline orientated, results orientated with a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment, able to prioritise and manage multiple responsibilities
  • Adaptable, flexible and shows initiative
  • Excellent verbal, written and non-verbal communication skills.
  • Lead by example by maintaining strong ethics, values, trust and integrity
  • Ability to think and operate both strategically and tactically
