Sales Representative - Eurodontic
This is an opportunity for a Sales Professional to develop and expand an established wholesale goods and equipment business that supplies Practices and Laboratories in the UK & Ireland.
This will require maintaining the current customer network while also finding new customers while maintaining good relationships with Suppliers. Also, identifying growth market opportunities to grow the business further through the sales of equipment and sundries. This will require the demonstration and installation of the equipment and be able carry out repairs or facilitate its repair of all equipment in stock.
Responsibilities
- Account management
- Discussions with customers
- Recommending consumables for the systems sold
- Demonstrations of equipment with consumables
- Preparing for conferences and exhibitions
However, The Role Should Also Include
- Installation of equipment
- Training on equipment
- Basic repairs or coordinating repairs
- Ensure our customer experience is the best it can be and work out ways to improve it where needed.
- Continually explore new products/propositions that could satisfy customer demand/improve customer experience.
- Maintain existing relationships with manufacturers/suppliers.
- Evaluate potential opportunities to supply new products, to ensure a good fit with our existing portfolio of sales.
- Assess & evaluate the commercial viability and profit margin of new and existing products.
- Be able to repair all the equipment in stock or be able to facilitate its repair.
- Contact regular check-ins with the other members of the Eurodontic Team.
- Marketing and promotion:
- Social media
- Arrange photography (if necessary)
- Collaborate with copywriter & designers as appropriate.
- Arrange trade show stands & collateral (liaise with stand builder)
- Agree with Senior Management which trade shows to attend.
- Analyse results from trade shows to influence future decisions.
- Maintain focus on sales targets.
- Maintain awareness of regulatory body compliance standards (DAMAS/MHRA) and maintains compliance to appropriate Medical Device legislation.
Qualifications, Training And Experience
- Business development experience – B2b
- Experience in dental, dental materials and equipment would be desirable.
- Sales experience would be an advantage.
- Full driving license essential, occasional over night stays
