Location: Oxford

Department: Sales

Reports to: Sales Director

Basic Salary: £28,000 £32,000 depending on experience

Benefits: Bonus scheme, company pension

Job Type: Full-time (Onsite-office base)

About The Role

Were looking for a confident and motivated Sales Representative to join our team at Westech Solar. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives on building relationships, spotting new business opportunities, and delivering excellent service. Youll play a key role in helping our customers find the right solar solutions backed by innovative products and a supportive team.

Key Responsibilities

Sales and Business Development

  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through prospecting, networking, and referrals.
  • Manage a pipeline of prospects and follow up consistently to close deals.
  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to potential clients.
  • Clearly explain the benefits of our solar products and services.
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Understand client needs and recommend suitable solutions.
  • Act as the main point of contact for customers throughout the sales journey.
  • Provide after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Market Awareness

  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities.
  • Share customer insights with management to help shape future strategy.
  • Stay up to date with industry developments, particularly in the renewables space.

Reporting and Admin

  • Keep accurate records of sales activity, customer interactions, and deals using our CRM system.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery and service for clients.

Required

What Were Looking For

  • Previous experience in a sales role (B2B preferred).
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Confident presenting technical information in an accessible way.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Self-motivated with good time management and organisational skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and MS Office tools.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Desirable

  • Experience in the solar or renewable energy industry.
  • Knowledge of the UK solar market and customer base.
  • Comfortable using data and sales metrics to drive performance.
