Students and grads get fixed prices for 12-month contracts and best of all, our Fused packages come with unlimited energy!
Because our Fused service is for students, this role comes with an element of seasonality. As students typically move in over the summer, expect to be working with customers who are looking for 2026 accommodation now, and be ready for the excitement and bustle of the

What you’ll be doing?
The Fused Sales team is at the core of One Utility Bill. As one of our Sales Team Leaders, your determination, dedication and personal approach will give our team and our customers confidence that you will get the right solution for them.
By taking on this role, you will be expected to work alongside, as well as leading the team through coaching, improving & introducing new processes and ensuring KPI’s are hit.
As part of our Sales Team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day performance of our B2C team , including both renewals and new sales, plus fixed-term staff during our peak Summer period.
Reporting into the Fused Sales Manager, you will be joining a motivated team with big targets to achieve, helping One Utility Bill on its growth journey.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading weekly team meetings
- Delivering company updates
- Rota management
- Holding one-to-one sessions with team members
- Coaching, Recruiting, Training and onboarding team members
- Build plans to deliver objectives and motivate your team
- Develop and implement new sales initiatives and strategies
- Complete team performance analysis as well as weekly and monthly reporting on KPIs
- Conduct call monitoring and feedback
- Being the first point of contact for the team for advice on handling difficult customer queries and escalations
- Creating training documents for the team
- Work closely with Team Leaders and Managers from other departments to improve and create new internal processes
- Reduce the cancellations of sales within the first 14 day cooling off period or prior
- Writing reports and presentations analysing the performance of your team and delivering these to the Senior Leadership Team and key external stakeholders

Our team works in our office from Ouseburn with the shift pattern being Monday to Friday 10-6pm with one Saturday every 4 weeks. Hybrid working may be permitted once probation is completed however is not guaranteed all year round.
