Summary

The Salesforce Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing customized Salesforce solutions to meet business requirements. The role requires strong expertise in Salesforce development, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and integrations with third-party systems. The developer will collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, develop technical solutions, and optimize Salesforce functionalities to enhance user experience and business operations. A deep understanding of Salesforce best practices, security, and automation tools such as Flow, Process Builder, and Workflow Rules is essential. The role also involves supporting the administration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Salesforce platform.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement customized Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and declarative tools.
• Develop and maintain Salesforce automation, including Flows, Process Builder, Workflow Rules, and Approval Processes, to streamline business operations.
• Integrate Salesforce with third-party applications (e.g., REST/SOAP APIs, middleware tools, external databases) to ensure seamless data flow.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and implement scalable Salesforce solutions.
• Ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices, including security configurations, data integrity, and compliance with governance policies.
• Develop and maintain Salesforce reports, dashboards, and analytics to provide insights into business performance and user activity.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Salesforce configurations, customizations, and integrations to ensure platform stability.
• Perform system administration tasks such as user management, permission sets, roles, profiles, and data migrations using Data Loader or other ETL tools.
• Provide technical leadership, guidance, and knowledge transfer to internal teams to promote Salesforce adoption and best practices.
• Stay updated with the latest Salesforce releases, features, and industry trends to continuously enhance the platform’s capabilities.

Qualifications and Experience

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I & II, Salesforce Certified Administrator) are highly desirable.
• Proven experience in Salesforce development, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and declarative automation tools.
• Hands-on expertise in integrating Salesforce with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs and middleware tools.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce security, sharing models, data structures, and performance optimization techniques.
• Experience in designing and implementing scalable Salesforce solutions to meet business needs and improve operational efficiency.
• Knowledge of Salesforce DevOps processes, CI/CD pipelines, and version control tools (e.g., Git, Bitbucket, Copado).
• Experience with data migration, ETL processes, and tools like Data Loader, Workbench, and Talend.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex Salesforce issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with business users, stakeholders, and technical teams.
• A minimum of 4-6 years of experience as a Salesforce Developer or similar role.
