Your role

As Salesforce Technical Lead, you will help us to close existing technical gaps and to guide the Firm through the challenges of the go live and initial steady state period of our Salesforce deployment encompassing Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, CRM Analytics, Introhive, and Copado.

Responsibilities Will Include

• Bring technical authority to the team as they navigate early product lifecycle impacts, making significant contributions to decisions around break/fix incidents, integration challenges etc.
• Collaborating closely with project manager(s), implementation partner(s), business analysts and the product owner to ensure a smooth go live and strong initial operational period.
• Acting as a consultative technical point of contact for stakeholders, providing clear guidance in response to their technical questions.
• Leveraging hands-on expertise in Salesforce platform capabilities to assure the development of enhancements and features by our implementation partners.
• Reviewing existing processes, resources and skills within the Linklaters Technology & Data teams to understand the current Salesforce support environment, capabilities and highlighting any existing gaps.
• Communicating the positive and negative impact that decisions will have on immediate and longer-term operations, specifically working to avoid building up technical and / or operational debt.
• Assisting to evaluate and prioritise requests based on business impact, resource availability and strategic alignment.
• Identifying opportunities for optimisation improvements, making recommendations on next steps and working to implement those recommendations as selected by stakeholders.
  
  

Your Experience

• A key technical authority, bringing a deep, authoritative knowledge of the technical elements of Salesforce that you can frame in the context of business operations to deliver the best possible outcome from the investment.
• Good understanding of cloud, networking/firewall, & data integration components required to support the Salesforce model.
• Demonstrable experience of success working in organisations new to Salesforce.
• Deep knowledge of Salesforce clouds being implemented by Linklaters in addition to expert proficiency in Flow declarative tools and working understanding of Apex.
• Good understanding and practical experience of ITIL processes and project management best practices including Agile principles and methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and liaise with senior stakeholders and partners.
• Ability to prioritise demanding workloads alongside resilience and the ability to remain calm and objective under pressure.
• Previous experience of working in product teams, following agile delivery methodology.
  
  

The Team

You will be joining a team, within the wider Technology & Data function, who are focused on designing, building, implementing & operating Salesforce at the Firm. The Salesforce product team is comprised of both Linklaters Tech & Data team members and external implementation partners.

The Technology & Data function is currently transitioning from traditional waterfall-based project delivery to a product orientated operating model, focused on agile delivery aligned to the Scrum framework.
