About the Role:

EG Group are excited to have an opening for a highly capable SAP Business Analyst to join our multi-disciplinary Applications SAP Centre of Excellence (CoE). EG Group is in the midst of an ambitious SAP transformation programme, currently delivering 11 concurrent SAP-related projects following a challenged SAP RISE implementation.

This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between business stakeholders, technical teams, and external delivery partners, ensuring SAP solutions are fit for purpose, deliver business value, and are implemented with robust governance and risk controls. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a complex, fast-paced, and politically sensitive environment, with the ability to contribute to the recovery and stabilisation of delivery.

What you’ll be doing:

Requirements & Analysis

• Engage with business stakeholders across multiple functions to elicit, validate, and document detailed business and functional requirements for SAP modules and processes.
• Analyse current processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements that leverage SAP capabilities and industry best practices.
• Ensure requirements are prioritised and aligned across multiple concurrent projects, managing interdependencies and avoiding duplication.

Solution Design & Delivery Support

• Translate business needs into feasible, scalable SAP solutions in collaboration with SAP functional and technical consultants.
• Support remediation efforts for previously challenged or failed SAP workstreams, contributing to root cause analysis and delivery improvement plans.
• Participate in full project lifecycles — from planning and design through to implementation and post-go-live stabilisation.

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Develop and execute test scenarios and scripts, support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and ensure defect resolution before go-live.
• Champion quality assurance, governance, and risk controls across all deliverables.

Change Management & Communication

• Support change impact assessments, user training, and adoption strategies to ensure smooth transitions.
• Act as a trusted liaison between business teams, SAP CoE, and external vendors, providing clear and timely communication to all parties.

Governance, Risk & Vendor Management

• Contribute to SAP governance processes, ensuring solutions meet compliance, security, and audit requirements.
• Collaborate with procurement and vendor management teams to monitor external delivery performance, holding partners to account against contractual and project commitments.

Continuous Improvement & Reporting

• Identify opportunities to optimise the use of SAP tools and capabilities, incorporating lessons learned from prior challenges.
• Support reporting and analytics requirements using SAP reporting tools (Fiori, SAP Query, BI), aligned with decision-making needs.

What we’re looking for:

• Minimum 5+ years as a Business Analyst or SAP Analyst in an enterprise-scale SAP environment.
• Proven experience in multi-project SAP delivery, ideally within both ECC and S/4HANA landscapes.
• Experience supporting recovery or remediation of challenged SAP programmes.
• Strong knowledge of SAP modules (FI, CO, MM, SD, HCM) and related integration points.
• Familiarity with SAP implementation methodologies, governance, and quality assurance practices.
• Proficient in SAP reporting and analytics tools.
• Skilled in vendor management and stakeholder engagement at all levels.
• Strong facilitation, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Resilient and adaptable in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
