Job Description:
Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled SAP FICO Functional Consultant to provide support for an external customer, focusing on project delivery and business-as-usual (BAU) support on an SAP ECC6.0 (ERP) system.
What you will be doing:
- Provide expertise on SAP best practice processes to ensure the effective performance of the business solution (application support/maintenance).
- Engage in implementation and support activities, including business requirement gathering, gap-fit analysis, upgrades, issue resolution, and training.
- Participate in client meetings/discussions to enhance functionalities, provide solution overviews for new changes, and support QA testing and planned activities.
- Plan, develop, configure, and implement change requests for SAP FICO, SRM, and MM modules as per client requirements.
- Resolve critical operational issues and error incidents logged by end-users through Remedy and other tools.
- Prepare business requirement documents, functional specifications, proof of concept documents, UAT, test scripts, end-user training documents, and knowledge transfer documents.
What we are looking for:
- Demonstrable experience of SAP FICO in a challenging project and/or support environment.
- Knowledge of Kofax (Readsoft) is desirable but not essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and provide solutions.
- Proficiency in the MS Office toolset.
- Experience in mentoring junior consultants.
