Quality Chapter
You might not think it, but remaining the first choice for savvy homeware-shoppers involves some pretty advanced tech. Our SAP estate is a vital part of our financial, warehouse and logistics operations and we are about to enter an exciting a multi-year enterprise-wide SAP transformation programme (S/4 H Programme).
As a Quality Chapter at Dunelm, our aim is to enable and support our ability to deliver high quality value, in the right way, based on our customer needs. With a focus on having the right balance of speed and quality to frequently achieve this.
To be able succeed our Quality Chapter is made up of 60+ quality advocates (QAs), in various roles, embedded into our 20+ crews and across our 6 domains to enable & implement continuous quality & testing through whole team ownership.
Dunelm’s SAP Solution
Dunelm’s SAP solutions underpin many of Dunelm’s operations including Finance, Manufacturing, Inventory management, Order management, Warehouse management, HR and Payroll. These SAP solutions will be coming out of mainstream support in Dec 2027 and at the end of their operational life in Dec 2030. Over the next few years, we are planning to replace these legacy SAP solutions with more modern enterprise platforms from SAP or others depending on the respective costs / benefits assessed as we develop the plan.
S4/H Quality Specialist
As a S4/H Quality Specialist, you will lead all our QA activities in our multi-year enterprise-wide SAP transformation programme ensuring that S/4HANA, Successfactors, EWM HANA and SAP BTP Integration Services are delivered to a high quality with minimal post go-live issues. You will be responsible for S/4 H Test strategy, defining test scope, planning, coordinating, and executing the testing activities while ensuring adherence to industry and Dunelm best practices. Your expertise in SAP testing methodologies and your strong leadership skills will be instrumental in achieving the project’s objectives. The successful candidate may have previous been in roles such as SAP Test Manager or S4/H or SAP Test Technical Specialist.
As a senior leader within the Quality Chapter, you will have experience working in matrix organisations which focus on celebration, cross skilled teams and servant leadership.

The Role
As a key senior leader within the S/4 H programme, you will work within the team and with the business-aligned crews where your primary focus will be to define testing strategies, implement and advise on best practices, and drive continuous improvement in processes. You will work within the programme alongside the programme manager, head of Enterprise to lead the quality and testing.
You will be focused on the success of the S/4H migration by leading testing strategies and ensuring their seamless adoption across the programme. You will be hands on in the design, maintenance, adoption of the S/4 test frameworks and performance optimisation techniques.
