Description

The SuccessFactors Project Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of SuccessFactors implementation and enhancement projects. This includes managing scope, budget, timeline, quality and resources, while engaging stakeholders and ensuring that solutions meet customer business requirements and adhere to best practices.


Please note: This role requires proven experience in managing SAP SuccessFactors implementation projects. Applications without direct SuccessFactors project management experience will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end SuccessFactors implementation projects across one or multiple modules (e.g., Employee Central, Recruitment, Learning, Performance & Goals, Compensation).
  • Define and manage project scope, deliverables, work plans, budgets, timelines and resource allocations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the client and delivery teams, managing communications, escalations, and expectations.
  • Coordinate internal and external resources, including functional consultants, technical teams, integration partners and client SMEs.
  • Produce and maintain key project artefacts including project plans, RAID logs, status reports, governance packs and change requests.
  • Facilitate project governance meetings, steering committees and workshops.
  • Identify project risks and issues proactively, and manage them to resolution.
  • Support project teams in following delivery methodologies (e.g., Agile, Hybrid, SAP Activate).
  • Ensure projects are delivered to contractual commitments, quality standards and within budget.
  • Manage post go-live support planning and handover to support teams.
  • Drive continuous improvement, capturing lessons learned and contributing to delivery templates and best practice.


Skills & Experience:

Essential:

  • Demonstrable experience (typically 3+ years) of managing SuccessFactors implementation projects, either as a dedicated project manager or as a workstream/project lead.
  • Solid understanding of SuccessFactors modules and their typical deployment challenges.
  • Experience of project management in consultancy or systems integration environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including presenting to senior stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Proficiency in project planning tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet).
  • Working knowledge of project financial management (e.g., budgeting, forecasting, margin).


Desirable:

  • SAP Activate, Prince2, PMP, AgilePM, or similar certification.
  • Experience with SAP HCM, integration (e.g., SAP CPI, Dell Boomi), or SAP S/4HANA HR-related projects.
  • Experience delivering international or multi-country HR projects.
  • Familiarity with HR business processes and transformation programmes.


Qualifications:

  • Degree in Business, IT, HR or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Formal project management qualification preferred.
