Position

This role sits in the Product Operations team of the Savings Division, whose remit is product development and management, data and reporting, and business transformation. This purpose of this role is to be responsible for day-to-day back-office support for the Bank’s deposit aggregator book and its pension, credit union and corporate books. The role will also provide cover to other areas of responsibility within the team.

Qualifications and experience

  • Degree desirable or some relevant experience

Competencies and Attributes

  • Possess at least intermediate MS Excel skills.
  • Possess, or be prepared to develop, basic to intermediate Tableau skills

Other Information

Deposit Aggregator, Pension, Credit Union and Corporate Deposits Back Office Transaction Processing

  • Process daily instructions in a timely and punctilious manner.
  • Ensure correct payments are both made and received.
  • Perform daily reconciliations.
  • Provide periodic reconciliations to aggregator partners.
  • Manage day-to-day client management activities as they arise.

Deposit Aggregator Pension, Credit Union and Corporate Deposits Operational Product Management

  • Create and issue products on a daily basis or as required.
  • Develop into a subject matter expert for the Phoebus system (banking system hosting aggregator products).
  • Develop into a subject matter expert for the Finova system (banking system hosting non-aggregator products)

Deposit Aggregator Pension, Credit Union and Corporate Deposits Due Diligence

  • Ensure that aggregator partners and deposit counterparties are providing the required ongoing due diligence data.
  • Attendance at periodic aggregator governance meetings.

Reporting

  • Develop a good understand of the Divisional data structure.
  • Understand, develop and provide reporting on the depositor aggregator book, for both Divisional and wider bank stakeholders.
  • Assist in the production of wider divisional reporting.
  • Assist in the production of regulatory reporting.

Transformation

  • Develop a good understanding of Finova (banking system hosting core deposit business).
  • Understand and support the Finova product build and release process.
  • Support with user acceptance testing of change initiatives as and when required.
