Schemes Sector Lead

We are partnering with a leading, respected UK insurer to help them introduce a new, pivotal leadership role into their market-leading Schemes function.

This is a newly created position to own and drive the strategic direction for their MGA portfolio. You will build and lead a team, shape underwriting strategy, and be directly accountable for profitable growth in this specialist area.

The Role:

• A newly established role reporting to the Head of Schemes.
• Full P&L and team leadership responsibility for the MGA sector.
• Develop and execute the underwriting, performance, and portfolio management strategy from the ground up.
• Act as a senior internal and external representative for the MGA business.

Your Profile:

• Deep, hands-on experience with MGAs (underwriting, management, or portfolio oversight).
• Significant analytical and underwriting expertise, ideally with ACII progression.
• Proven leadership capability or clear potential to step into a people management role.
• A strategic thinker who can build frameworks and influence at all levels.
