Schools Programme Officer: Primary to help deliver our exciting
Premier League Primary Stars programme and Extended Services offer. If you love working with young people, have a passion for education and sport, and want every day to feel like matchday… this might be your dream role.
Position
🌟 What You’ll Do (AKA: Your Starting Line-Up Duties)
- 🏆 Lead and grow our Extended Services offer — from PE to clubs, you’ll bring the energy.
- 📣 Recruit new primary schools and build brilliant relationships with Headteachers.
- ⚽ Deliver inspirational PE lessons, classroom activities, football coaching and more.
- 🍎 Coordinate and deliver our exciting Holiday Activities & Food (HAF) programme.
- 📊 Plan, track, and evaluate sessions — helping us keep winning off the pitch too.
- 🤝 Engage children from diverse communities and help them develop skills for life.
- 🚀 Work with the Education team to shape the future of WHUF’s school programmes.
Requirements
🧩 What You Bring (Your Player Strengths)
- A passion for helping children learn, grow, and be active.
- Experience working with primary-aged children in schools or community settings.
- A Level 2 coaching qualification (any sport!) and confidence delivering PE.
- Creativity, motivation, and the ability to plan inspiring sessions.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build great professional relationships.
- A commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, equality and doing things the right way.
(Don’t have First Aid or Safeguarding training yet? We’ll sort that!)
