35 HOURS PER WEEK PERMANENT FULL TIME
We are looking for an experienced candidate to provide an efficient, effective and flexible technical support service to the Faculty of Health, Wellbeing and Management.
Responsibilities
The post holder will support the curriculum by; maintaining a clean and organised store of scientific materials and equipment; preparing and cleaning equipment after use; setting up experiments and practical demonstrations; ordering stock and ensuring proper paper and electronic records are maintained.
You will be responsible to the Curriculum Manager but will work closely with the Head of Sector and the lecturing staff. Based at our Langside Campus you will also support delivery at our Anniesland and Cardonald site as necessary. The department currently runs courses from National 5 to HND level in a range of scientific specialisms.
Requirements
A science qualification at HNC level or higher would be desirable but consideration will be given to equivalent qualifications, apprenticeships or experience. Health & Safety practices is essential with experience and knowledge of support and customer care in a technical area is required. Why Join Us?
