Requirements
We are in search of a Scrum Master who embodies our core values of collaboration, creativity, and continuous improvement—someone dedicated to propelling us towards our ambition of establishing a market-leading tech solution.
As a Scrum Master at ZILO™, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating our Agile journey across time zones and geographical boundaries. You will be the champion of Agile Scrum practices within cross-functional teams, ensuring adherence to the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) while fostering an environment where collaboration thrives.
There is an expectation you will attend our Churchill Place, Canary Wharf office, up to 3 days each week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a servant-leader for Agile teams, aiding in the removal of impediments, guiding the team through the Scrum process, and ensuring open communication among all stakeholders
- Facilitate and organise Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning sessions, retrospectives, and sprint reviews, encouraging continuous improvement
- Work with cross-functional, geographically distributed teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination
- Monitor project progress, report on the achievement of Agile metrics, and optimize team dynamics to increase productivity
- Ensure the Agile values and principles are understood and enacted by coaching teams in self-organization and cross-functionality
- Protect the team from external interruptions and distractions to maintain focus on project priorities
- Assist the Product Owner with maintaining the product backlog and facilitate backlog refinement sessions
- Promote SAFe practices and help teams understand their roles within a Scaled Agile environment
Essential Experience:
- Proven expertise as a Scrum Master on multiple diverse teams in various environments
- Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and ensuring Agile practices are followed
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies, techniques, and frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) to deliver solutions
- Leadership skills to coach and collaborate with individuals and teams from diverse backgrounds
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities
