Job Purpose:


Our new Secretary will offer proactive secretarial and administrative support to two Directors and their respective business areas and teams. Candidates should be experienced in fast-paced environments and adept at handling high-pressure workloads.

  • Working Hours- 37.0 Hours per Week

Key accountabilities:


  • First point of contact for internal and external visitors
  • Co-ordinate travel and accommodation arrangements
  • Compilation of meeting and briefing documentation such as agendas, minutes, presentations and briefing packs.
  • Raise purchase orders.
  • Support with inbox and diary management
  • Organisation of external functions and meetings
  • Management of meeting room bookings
  • Holiday and absence cover will need to be provided for the other secretaries as appropriate
  • Work may require working non-standard hours on some occasions
  • Will need to be able to prioritise conflicting demands from different members of the team
  • The role requires working unsupervised and therefore requires a pro-active approach


Technical Skills & Experience:


  • Highly competent in the use of all MS Office applications, particularly Outlook Word and PowerPoint.
  • Able to present a professional approach at all times.
  • A self-motivated individual with the ability to work with Senior Managers.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to provide attention to detail.
  • Integrity, discretion and confidentiality are critical for this role.
  • Relevant experience in a similar role is preferred.
