Security and Penetration Testing Engineer

Chestergate Technologies Ltd is looking to recruit a Software Tester with good experience in Penetration and Security Testing to join our growing team that delivers innovative technology solutions for our clients and customers.

The Role

As Software Tester you will use your skills to help the products that we are developing and our clients to identify bugs, mainly security leaks, and work with the team to identify the acceptance criteria for both functional and non-functional behaviors. You will collaborate with the team and use manual and automation test techniques to ensure the delivered items meet their definition of done.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify weaknesses and shortcomings in our products and client security postures and recommend necessary controls and procedures to protect them from threats.
• Involve in engagements that simulate malicious threats & attacks promptly.
• Conducting high-risk and sensitive ethical hacks of internally and externally hosted applications according to scope.
• Subject matter expertise in web, mobile, and network penetration testing with a track record of end-to-end testing of complex systems.
• Coordinate and execute system/network level pen tests and ethical hacking exercises.
• Proactively research and Identity network and system vulnerabilities and provide recommended countermeasures or controls to reduce risk to an acceptable and manageable level.

Essential Skills:

• 2+ years of experience in Security / Penetration Testing – Must.
• Experience in testing IBM - BPM-related applications – Must.
• Experience in Automation tools.
• Manual testing – Integration Testing, Performance Testing.
• Test Planning & Management
• Sprint Management

Desired Skills:

· ISTQB Foundation Certification or equivalent in Software Testing.
