Security Engineer

A Global Company requires a Contract Security Engineer to work across IT projects ensuring Secure by Design is implemented. This ideally suits someone who has an Infrastructure/Networks background but now is Security focussed.

Day Rate: £650-£700pd

IR35 Status: Inside

Travel: 3 days a week in Central London

Duration: 12 months initially

This Security Engineer will have the previous following experience with:

• Security Integration - Identified and embedded security requirements into system design and configurations, ensuring compliance with organisational and regulatory standards.
• Stakeholder Collaboration - Partnered with teams across the organisation to promote secure practices and build trust through clear, accessible communication of complex security issues.
• Risk Assessment and Response - Conducted security assessments to identify vulnerabilities, develops risk mitigation plans, and implements appropriate controls.
• Operational Security Management - Established and maintained security procedures, monitors systems for irregularities, and responds to incidents with preventive and corrective measures.
• Continuous Improvement - Enhanced security infrastructure and processes, maintains comprehensive documentation, and contributes to organisational knowledge and capability development.
