We’re looking for a professional and approachable Security Officer to join our Security team reporting into the Facilities and Security Manager. In this Monday to Friday on-site role, you’ll provide a highly visible and proactive security presence, ensuring the safety of our people, assets, and premises. Key Responsibilities
- Control access and monitor movement of vehicles, employees, visitors, and contractors
- Operate and monitor CCTV and other security systems to maintain site surveillance
- Respond swiftly and effectively to incidents, alarms, and emergencies
- Conduct regular patrols and maintain a high-profile presence across the site
- Provide first aid assistance and support emergency procedures when required
- Maintain accurate logs, reports, and assist with inspections and compliance tasks
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Experience in a similar security position or a position of similar responsibility/professionalism
- Familiar with Outlook, Word, Excel and ideally CCTV systems
- Candidates with experience from the armed forces, police service or similar institution are highly preferred
- Professional, disciplined, trustworthy, accountable and able to deal with crisis/emergency situations
