The ideal candidate will be customer-oriented with a drive to achieve goals and maintain a great customer experience. You will be able to suggest forward-thinking ideas to promote our brand and work closely with clients to understand their needs. This individual will have excellent communication abilities and negotiation skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivering and executing great campaigns, i.e. ensuring hitting core KPIs:
- Supporting the trading team by relaying information from the client in a timely manner, including pixel setup and tags, targets, competitor performance, external factors affecting campaign, setting up the required reports etc.
- Monitoring campaign performance, by ensuring we are pacing correctly and are on target
- Fielding client requests, whether admin or insights, such as insights reports, campaign booking information etc.
- Pro-actively managing expectations and educating the client when it comes to best practice, campaign strategies & KPIs, what is/isn’t possible etc.
- Working with dev teams to drive solutions to problems through proprietary tech development
- Developing case studies of good work for assistance in upselling and company PR
Helping the client develop and implement their wider display strategy through:
- Helping them achieve ‘client firsts’ – doing something new for their brands, like sophisticated dynamic prospecting or a geo focused push.
- Develop quarterly/ half/ yearly strategy planning
- Becoming their go-to, indispensable partner, where clients trust your expertise and value your input, be it on campaign execution, specific areas (mobile, brand safety etc.) or wider display strategy
- Going the extra mile in terms of servicing – being pro-active and giving them truly bespoke insights during and after campaign
- Understanding the bigger picture by learning about your clients’ products, general industry trends, competitors or developments in digital marketing that may be relevant to them.
Promoting and supporting client growth by:
- Supporting the sales team by helping them answer briefs and going to client meetings in order share your experience gained running campaigns
- Being more commercial by developing strong client relationships and identifying upsell opportunities and generally seeking opportunities to promote our solutions to clients
Commercial Acumen
- Understands the financial levers of programmatic trading (e.g. CPMs, margin, bid strategies) and can articulate their impact on client investment and Crimtan revenue/ profit margin
- Proactively identifies risks to revenue and takes steps to mitigate them, ensuring sustained client investment
- Strong negotiation skills, ensuring favourable commercial terms in client and vendor partnerships ( this has been put in in relation to maybe the team taking on more of the pub relations)
Team leadership
- Provide day-to-day guidance, coaching, and support to junior team members to help them deliver high-quality work and grow their skills.
- Support junior colleagues in workload prioritisation and time management to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met.
- Deliver constructive feedback and facilitate regular check-ins, helping junior staff identify development areas and celebrate successes.
- Contribute to onboarding and training of new team members, ensuring they integrate smoothly and understand internal processes and client expectations.
- Encourage a positive, inclusive, and collaborative team culture that motivates individuals and fosters strong team spirit.
- Identify learning and development opportunities for junior team members and help them create clear progression plans.
- Oversee the quality of junior team members’ work (e.g. reports, campaign setups, optimisations) and provide guidance for continuous improvement.
- Champion knowledge sharing within the team, helping to build collective expertise in programmatic trading, client servicing, and commercial acumen.
- Support performance reviews by providing input on junior team members’ strengths, contributions, and areas for growth.

- You must be confident in leading conversations with clients as you will be responsible for presenting strategy responses, end of campaign reports and quarterly business reviews.

- We deal with lots of data, so you should be comfortable manipulating it and using it to back up your analysis and recommendations.
- Sometimes things don’t go to plan – you will need to use your initiative to try to solve problems (under-performing campaigns, discrepancies, tech development etc.)
Showing an entrepreneurial spirit:
- We want you to show ownership, initiative and accountability and to generally be pro-active when leading campaign executions
- Have demonstrated experience of growing a book of business whilst working with multiple stakeholders

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 6 years' of proven success in client management
- Familiarity with sales performance metrics
- Strong negotiation, presentation and communication skills
