Role Description:
The Senior Account Manager plays a key role in the retention and growth of clients across the agency. Working closely with the Account Director and Managing Director , they are responsible for the day-to-day management of client relationships, supporting on strategic development and ensuring projects are delivered smoothly, on time and on budget.
This role requires strong communication, organisation, and commercial awareness. You will act as the
bridge between the client and internal teams—briefing creative, editorial and production departments,
coordinating timelines and feedback, and contributing to exceptional delivery at every stage. You will
also help identify opportunities to grow accounts and bring in new work.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
● 4+ years account management experience, with ideally 1-2 at a SAM level.
● Experience working within a creative agency and/or production company, ideally across film, editorial, design and photography.
● Proven track record of client retention and account growth.
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in client-facing interaction.
● Proven ability to oversee projects from an account management perspective — staying across timelines, deliverables against the brief, budgets and coordinating with internal teams
● Organised, detail-oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
● Skilled at managing client expectations and navigating challenges constructively.
● Comfortable presenting ideas and proposals to clients and internal stakeholders.
● Familiarity with budgeting, resourcing and the creative production process.
● Interest in youth culture, editorial storytelling and brand communication.
● Proactive and positive mindset.
● Ability to identify and take initiative on tasks without direction, while also being a collaborative and supportive team player.
● Experience working with sports and culture-led brands is a plus.
KEY TASKS / RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Act as day-to-day lead on assigned accounts, maintaining strong, positive client relationships
● Manage the delivery of projects — briefing internal teams, collaborating with producers on establishing timelines, tracking progress, and managing approvals
● Coordinate with creative, editorial and production teams to ensure smooth delivery and
high-quality output from concept to delivery, flagging risks early
● Support senior team members in shaping project strategy, presentations and proposals
● Be commercially literate, supporting the production team with project budgets with accuracy
and confidence
● Help to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within your existing accounts
● Prepare client-facing documents including status reports, timelines, post-campaign analysis
and meeting recaps
● Support on pitch responses, depending on scale and seniority of the opportunity
● Provide input on marketing, PR and case study materials that showcase agency work
● Stay up to date with TCO’s media platforms and contribute to sharing cultural insights and
ideas internally
