We're looking for an enthusiastic Accountant to join our finance team in London. The successful candidate will join a team of three and will be responsible for managing the books of several UK entities. They will act as the main point of contact for accounting entries, tax and fiscal requirements, and audit enquiries.
This role would suit someone with accounting experience who's looking to propel their career forward.
What Your Day To Day Will Look Like
- Managing and implementing robust accounting processes
- Managing monthly and quarterly fiscal requirements (e.g. VAT, WHT
- Acting as the main point of contact for audit enquirie
- Regularly reviewing balance sheet processes and reconciliations
- Supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Assisting with various internal projects, including system utilisation and process improvement
Requirements
- A degree and strong analytical skills
- At least two years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Windows; knowledge of NetSuite is desirable
- Excellent attention to detail
- A professional qualification (or part-qualified), such as CIMA, ACCA or equivalent, is desirable
- An enthusiastic, motivated, and committed ‘can-do' attitude
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage with colleagues and external contacts at all levels of seniority
- Trustworthy, reliable, a team player, and able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
