What you'll do:

As a Senior Actuarial Analyst Pricing Model Development at Aspen, you will immerse yourself in a variety of impactful projects that span model creation, enhancement, documentation, stakeholder engagement, and regulatory compliance. • Contribute to the design, development, enhancement, and validation of actuarial models and analytical tools that support reinsurance pricing strategies and business objectives.
• Collaborate with underwriters, actuaries, finance teams, claims specialists, ceded reinsurance professionals, and other internal stakeholders to ensure alignment of modelling outputs with organisational needs.
• Undertake comprehensive data analysis to identify trends, draw conclusions, and propose actionable recommendations that inform sound business decisions for Aspen.
• Document processes thoroughly and provide clear training materials for users of actuarial models in accordance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.
• Participate actively in process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies in current practices and suggesting enhancements that align with Aspen's strategic vision.
• Support the maintenance and ongoing development of the pricing modelling landscape and associated databases while adhering to IT requirements and best practices.
• Assist in the preparation of regulatory returns as required (including but not limited to Lloyd's PMDR), ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
• Engage in model governance activities by helping ensure robust validation procedures are followed and data structures are intuitive for effective analysis.
• Provide feedback and cross-training within the actuarial team to foster knowledge sharing and improve user proficiency in actuarial concepts.
• Take ownership of specific tasks arising from actuarial projects or recommendations from senior leadership within the global actuarial function.
