We work with our customers to support the strategic defence capabilities and energy resilience operations that protect and power the UK, its people, values, and interests.

Across defence, we support the UK’s most strategic systems and the service personnel that use infrastructure to live, work and train for operations.

We require a Senior Project Administrator to support a specific project.

Your responsibility as a Senior Project Administrator is to deliver the administrative activities to successfully manage this complex and challenging project. Reporting to the JV Support Manager, you will be a key member of the JV Support Team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key part in helping the JV perform to its best ability. The role will require someone who is dynamic and responsive, with an ability to drive activities to successful conclusions.

This is a hybrid role with presence on site in Plymouth.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with the set up and administration of project systems and data across the Joint Venture
  • Support the recruitment and onboarding of JV personnel
  • Working with the JV Ops Team to ensure the day-to-day administration on the project is up to date, consistent and in line with company procedures
  • Design, create and manage a dedicated web-based JV Project information platform
  • Support the Wider Leadership Team with administrative duties on an ad hoc basis
  • Manage and co-ordinate diaries, organise internal and external meetings as required
  • Organise travel and accommodation arrangements
  • Prepare reports, minutes, presentations and expenses on behalf of the JV board members as required
  • Arrange attendance at seminars, conferences and training courses
  • Book and set up meeting rooms and telephone conferences
  • Document Management
  • Organising events for the Project

Qualifications

  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite and good general IT literacy
  • Some database experience
  • Interest in technology focused business solutions
  • Experience of document control
  • Experience of minute taking, booking meeting rooms, hot desks and managing diaries of senior management
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proactive approach, Innovative, flexible and willing to adapt
  • Ability to influence and persuade
  • Excellent communicator both written and verbally
  • Self-motivated
  • Organised, with the ability to work to tight deadlines
  • To be able to collaborate across a wide team and gather information
  • Meticulous in data entry and checking quality of output
