Senior Analytics Engineer (SQL & DBT)

Up to £75,000 + Bonus + Benefits
Hybrid - London

A global tech business is growing its data function and is looking for a Senior Analytics Engineer to help shape a scalable, modern data environment used across multiple international teams. This is a high-impact role focused on building reliable data platforms, improving data quality, and enabling self-serve analytics across the organisation.

The Role:

Develop and maintain high-quality data pipelines using dbt, moving data from bronze to gold layers.
Apply Kimball methodologies to deliver clean, scalable data models.
Implement data quality frameworks and testing strategies.
Own the design of the semantic layer for BI tools such as Looker or Power BI.
Promote self-service analytics and data literacy across the business.
Act as an expert in SQL across technologies like Postgres, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, and Redshift.
Build and orchestrate pipelines using Airflow.
Support IaC and CI/CD best practices via GitHub.
Work closely with data engineers, analysts, data scientists, and product teams.

About You:

Strong experience building analytics-focused pipelines.
Proficient with dbt, SQL, and cloud warehouse technologies.
Knowledge of Kimball modelling and testing frameworks.
Experience with Airflow or similar orchestrators.
Understanding of IaC and CI/CD principles.
Collaborative and comfortable working with cross-functional teams.
