The Company:
Stream is on a mission to bring better financial wellbeing to frontline workers.
We partner with some of the world’s most famous employers, like Bupa, Burger King, Green King and the mighty NHS to give their teams access to fairer financial services - all built around flexible pay. Over three million people can now choose how often they’re paid, track their shifts and earnings, start saving, use budgeting tools, get free financial coaching, and access fairer financial products. All in one financial wellbeing super-app.
Stream is unique: VC-backed and growing at scale-up pace, but with a social conscience. Some of the world's leading financial charities and impact funds were our founding investors, and we operate on a social charter - which means every product we build has to improve financial health and reduce the $5.6bn ‘premium’ lower-income earners pay for financial services each year.
You’d be joining a team of over 200 passionate, ambitious people, across Europe and the USA, building a category-leading fintech product and all united by that same mission.
The Opportunity:
Our Operations team sits at the heart of Stream, ensuring we fight financial crime, support vulnerable customers, and deliver an excellent experience to millions of frontline workers. Right now, Ops lacks a dedicated senior data partner. Reporting relies on a combination of sources, and some processes are spreadsheet-dependent, which can make it challenging to gain a unified view of performance.
That’s where you come in.
As a Senior Analytics Engineer embedded in Ops, you won’t just build dashboards; you’ll own the data foundations for Operations. You’ll model FinCrime activity, client interactions, and support service levels in dbt, implementing testing and governance practices, and work directly with Ops leadership and the Data team to design reporting that drives regulatory compliance and service improvement.
This role is high-impact and highly visible: your work will be instrumental in ensuring Stream can scale while protecting customers, staying compliant, and giving world-class service.
The Team:
You’ll be the primary data partner for Operations, working day-to-day with Ops leadership and stakeholders across FinCrime, Support, Client Success, and TechOps. At the same time, you’ll sit within the central Data function, reporting to the Head of Data, where you’ll help shape standards, improve data quality, and mentor others as the team grows.
Our stack includes Snowflake, dbt, and Sigma. We value pragmatic engineering, robust data models, and governance-first thinking. You’ll have opportunities to contribute to wider initiatives in forecasting and AI-driven insights alongside the Data team.
