Senior Analytics Manager - Subscriptions (Maternity Cover)

A fantastic opportunity for an experienced reporting specialist to join the existing Insight & Analytics team at Telegraph Media Group, within the Subscriptions Department. You'll lead the delivery and evolution of performance reporting across the Telegraph's subscription business.

This senior position is ideal for a candidate who thrives at the intersection of technical excellence and commercial insight someone who can build high-quality subscription-focused reports, articulate performance to senior stakeholders, and influence strategic decision making.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end to end production of insights & analytics with focus on our digital subscriber base. This remit will include analytical support for retention, acquisition and subscriber behaviour projects /initiatives
• Commercial analysis to inform our subscriber pricing strategy. This will include optimising retention offers and initiatives and analytics supporting the price test roadmap
• Recommend robust testing approaches, working with stakeholders to inform commercial growth opportunities
• Design and implement quality assurance processes to ensure excellence in report delivery
• Act as a role model in a high performing Subscriptions Insight and Analytics team, coaching more junior team members
• Work with stakeholders across acquisition, retention and trading teams to support their strategy and growth plans
• Collaborate across the wider Insight & Analytics team (including Data Science, Research and Editorial Insight team) to drive insights and performance understanding to help deliver subscriptions growth and data lead decision making

• Advanced SQL knowledge, ideally with experience of using Big Query
• Experience of delivering complex analysis to drive commercial growth
• A mindset of continuous improvement & curiosity to ensure we continue to evolve, refine and optimise our analysis techniques
• Experience of working with senior stakeholders to identify growth opportunities and distil complex ideas/ results
• Strong attention to detail with a methodical and organised approach
