Mace is currently recruiting qualified senior architects and designers for our central government team to support our teams in the delivery of their projects consisting of new builds, extensions, remodels and refurbishments, space planning and workplace design with project values between £500k and £250m. The role is UK based, and we welcome applications from all UK regions.
You’ll Be Responsible For
- Directing and managing architectural design in line with contract requirements.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and key stakeholders.
- Managing design workshops and represent design in client meetings.
- Overseeing team outputs, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
- Driving business improvement initiatives and implement training plans.
- Delivering innovative, functional designs and provide technical advisory post-tender.
- Acting as primary client contact, presenting proposals and addressing concerns.
- Mentoring junior staff and foster continuous improvement.
- Ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and ISO standards.
- Demonstrating proficiency in Revit and building safety act requirements.
You’ll Need To Have
- ARB or CIAT registered, Part 3 qualified with 8+ years’ experience.
- Proficient in BIM and Revit, digitally savvy.
- Strong knowledge of building legislation and statutory requirements.
- Experienced in leading multidisciplinary teams and client relationships.
