Senior Asset & Development Manager

Cobalt have partnered with a large scale investor/developer, who are currently seeking a Senior Asset & Development Manager to join their Commercial Property team.

The business has a UK wide portfolio of office, retail, industrial and residential properties, and are looking to find an additional team member to aid with the strategic oversight of the central London Office portfolio specifically.

This opportunity is perfect for an established Asset Manager to further their experience, and to specialise in value-add initiatives through both strategic leasing and development work.

Key responsibilities:

• Portfolio Management – Overseeing a portfolio of real estate properties, ensuring they align with investment strategies.
• Value-add Initiatives - Plan and execute opportunities to add value to the company Office portfolio.
• Financial Performance – Monitoring property income, expenses, and return on investment (ROI) to optimise financial performance.
• Market Analysis – Conducting research on market trends, property values, and competitor performance to make informed decisions.
• Lease Advisory/L&T - Negotiating lease agreements to attract and retain quality tenants while maximising rental income. Identify opportunities within properties to maximise total yield through managing voids.
• Risk Management – Identifying and mitigating risks, including market downturns, vacancies, and regulatory compliance.
• Stakeholder Communication – Reporting to investors, lenders, and stakeholders on asset performance and strategic plans.
