Senior Associate/Associate, Commercial

We are looking for a Commercial Lawyer (3+ PQE) with expertise in IT, technology, and outsourcing to join a top-ranked national team. This role involves advising on high-value, complex digital and commercial transactions, helping major UK and global clients drive innovation and operational transformation.

The Role

• Lead and support technology and outsourcing transactions, including IT and BPO outsourcing, SaaS/cloud contracts, and software licensing.
• Work directly with major UK banks, FTSE 100 companies, tech giants, fintechs, and global payment providers.
• Advise on large-scale digital transformation and sourcing projects.
• Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted adviser.
• Mentor junior lawyers and contribute to team development.

Requirements

• 3+ PQE in commercial and technology law.
• Strong experience in IT outsourcing, SaaS/cloud, or software licensing.
• Confident leading deals and managing client relationships.
• Strategic, commercially minded, and able to deliver on time-sensitive projects.

• Experience in financial services, fintech, payments, retail, aviation, or digital health.
• Understanding of regulatory and data protection issues affecting technology contracts.
