The Role
We have a market-leading media, entertainment and sports practice across the globe, acting for a variety of rights-holders, broadcasters, agencies and athletes/celebrities across our global network. We are seeking to bolster our team in London closely connected with the firm’s global network.
Accordingly, we are seeking an experienced and ambitious senior associate to join our growing market-leading media, entertainment and sports global team, based in London. The successful candidate will manage a broad practice of advisory and transactional matters, often with an international element.
The role will suit someone who is ambitious, commercially minded, able to take initiative and who enjoys business development, looking to move to a collaborative, lean and energetic team.

Responsibilities
- Advise clients in the media, entertainment and sports sector on a range of commercial transactions, including sponsorship agreements, licensing arrangements, joint ventures and other complex commercial contracts.
Drafting bespoke commercial contracts and acting for clients in negotiating and concluding those contracts.Work alongside our other advisory, transactional and disputes colleagues on matters where there is a crossoverDevelop and maintain strong client relationships, providing pragmatic and strategic adviceManage all client work allocated, ensuring that it is progressed in a timely fashion and that the client is kept apprised on progress and costs, and provide consistently excellent client serviceDemonstrate excellent organisational skills to meet the demands of clients, external stakeholders and the business.Exercise high standards of client care in a professional and friendly mannerParticipate in self-motivated business development and business development with the wider teamKeep up to date with legal developments and contribute to thought leadership within the teamSupervise and assist in the professional development of more junior team members.

Qualifications
Admitted to practice as a solicitor or barrister either in England & Wales or qualified overseas with experience in the London market.
Undergraduate degree achieving a minimum of a 2:1 or equivalent.
