Senior Broker

Angove Partners are working with an independent specialist insurance and reinsurance broker headquartered in London. You will lead the placement and servicing of complex property business, leveraging deep market expertise and established underwriter relationships within both the Lloyd’s and London markets, as well as international markets, while delivering tailored risk solutions to international clients.

What is the role?

We are seeking multiple skilled and enthusiastic Property Insurance Brokers to join our independent specialist insurance and reinsurance broker in London. The successful candidates will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, underwriters, and partners while delivering comprehensive insurance solutions tailored to the unique needs of the Property sector.

What will you be doing?

• Collaborate closely with energy clients to understand their risk profiles, operational challenges, and insurance requirements.
• Conduct thorough risk assessments and analyses to identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks specific to the energy industry.
• Cultivate and nurture relationships with underwriters and insurance carriers, negotiating terms and conditions to secure optimal coverage for clients.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks to provide strategic risk management advice and solutions.
• Develop and present customized insurance programs that align with clients' risk appetite, compliance needs, and business goals.
• Actively participate in the claims management process, providing support to clients and facilitating the resolution of claims.

What do you need to apply to this role?

• Proven experience as an insurance broker, specifically within the property sector.
• In-depth knowledge of property-related risks, insurance products, and market dynamics.
• Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to foster strong client and partner relationships.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to assess complex risks and recommend tailored insurance solutions.
• Results-driven and proactive, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
