Role Overview

As a Senior Business Analyst within the Change Enablement function, you will play a critical role in partnering with programme teams and business stakeholders to shape, define, and deliver effective change. Acting as a Lead Business Analyst, you will apply structured business analysis and change techniques to identify pain points, clarify business needs, and ensure requirements are clearly defined, prioritised, and documented.

This role is pivotal in driving operational excellence, improving business processes, and enhancing the overall employee experience. You will contribute data-driven insights and support change initiatives that align with the Bank’s strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Change Delivery

Partner with programme teams and senior stakeholders to understand, analyse, and document business and change requirements.
Translate business needs into clear, structured artefacts (e.g. requirements, process maps, impact assessments, business cases).
Identify operational inefficiencies, pain points, and improvement opportunities across processes and systems.

Support prioritisation of change initiatives by articulating business value, benefits, risks, and dependencies.

Apply business change and analysis methodologies to support successful delivery of outcomes.

Stakeholder Engagement

Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders across departments, facilitating workshops and discussions to drive shared understanding.
Ensure alignment between business objectives, technology solutions, and change outcomes.
Communicate complex information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Continuous Improvement & Capability Building

Contribute to the development and maturity of the Business Change and Business Analysis capability within the division.
Act as an advocate and role model for the Business Analysis profession.
Coach and mentor junior Business Analysts, providing guidance on best practices, tools, and techniques.

Skills & Experience

Essential

Significant experience working as a Senior or Lead Business Analyst within complex change or transformation environments.

Strong expertise in business analysis and change techniques, including requirements elicitation, process modelling, and benefits realisation.

Proven ability to identify business problems, analyse root causes, and define pragmatic solutions.

Experience working closely with IT and change delivery teams.

Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills.

Desirable

Experience within large, regulated, or financial services organisations.
Familiarity with structured change frameworks and delivery methodologies.
Experience mentoring or leading other Business Analysts.
