Salary - National (Edinburgh and Leeds) ranging from £52,400 to £71,200 and London £57,700 to £78,300 per annum (Salary offered will be based on skills and experience)

Our Business and Technology Solutions Division (BTS) is at the forefront to transform the FCA into a data-led regulator, and our work enables the FCA to effectively regulate some of the UK’s most complex financial markets.
BTS comprises a range of teams and disciplines. Our Divisional Service Teams (DST) work closely with business areas to deliver key business change, including technology, regulation, and process improvements. DSTs are made up key change disciplines such as project management, business change, and architecture. Our Product Groups play a key role in the delivery and running of systems and services. Product Groups combine engineering, testing, service transition, and technical architecture capabilities.
The postholder will have the opportunity to work on a range of exciting projects, which help to build trust in our financial markets, and make a positive impact to the lives of vulnerable consumers. Our data-focussed initiatives are introducing machine learning and powerful search capabilities to optimise our use of data, so that we can more proactively address potential consumer harm. Through new systems and process, the projects will lead to the enabling of the UK financial industry to meet its legal obligations and improving outcomes for consumers and markets.
What will you be doing?
- Support with regulatory projects to operationalise new financial policies through new systems and processes
- Delivering key business changes and pushing process improvements
- Working and collaborating with senior stakeholders to implement changes
- Playing a key role in the delivery and running of systems and services

Minimum
- Has held a role(s) as “Business Analyst” or “Consultant”
- Substantial project/programme environments involving business & IT change.
- Prior experience within any of the following types of organisations/sectors: financial services, government/regulatory body, technology, consultancy (ideally IT consultancy).
Essential
- Vast knowledge of business analysis tools, techniques and best practice approaches, including end-to-end requirements management. Shows pragmatism in being able to select and adapt the right approach for the right situation.
- Delivers quality outputs at pace in both structured, and fluid project environments.
- Outstanding stakeholder management skills. Builds strong engagement with SMEs, and establishes good relationships with business sponsors, project stakeholders, and supplier delivery teams.
- Experience of project lifecycles delivered within a range of project delivery methodologies including Waterfall & Agile.
- Skilled at leveraging excellent written and oral communication skills to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
