Role Overview:
Requirements
We are seeking an experienced
Business Analyst with a strong background in regulatory transaction reporting under G20 regulations, including but not limited to
EMIR, MiFIR, ASIC, MAS, and HKMA. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to independently lead business analysis activities, including requirements gathering, data mapping, and control framework design to support:
- Delivery of regulatory change initiatives
- Design and implementation of data mappings and process flows for regulatory reporting
- Quality assurance of existing data mapping rules
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end business analysis for regulatory reporting change programmes
- Translate complex regulatory rules into actionable data mapping and process requirements
- Design and enhance transaction reporting control frameworks and governance structures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including compliance, technology, and operations
- Conduct quality assurance reviews on existing regulatory data mappings
Job Requirements
Must-Have Skills & Experience:
- In-depth knowledge of one or more G20 regulations (e.g., EMIR, MiFIR, CFTC, SEC, MAS, ASIC, HKMA, Canada) with a focus on data mapping and regulatory rule interpretation
- Strong understanding of the trade lifecycle and transaction reporting processes, particularly for derivatives and securities
- Demonstrated experience in regulatory change programmes within financial services
- Familiarity with transaction reporting control frameworks and governance models
Other Beneficial Skills And Experiences
- Experience working in large financial institutions on regulatory reporting initiatives
- Proven ability to engage and present to senior stakeholders, including compliance and risk teams
- Exposure to regulatory reporting assurance programmes
