Location: Any UK office - Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester, London or Reading (2-3 days)

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a driven Software Sales Specialist to join our Public Sector Division and create new, lasting relationships with customers. You’ll be a trusted advisor, championing a portfolio of third-party licensing solutions and services from the first conversation to deal closure and smooth handover into delivery.

This isn’t just about hitting numbers, it’s about strategic thinking, spotting opportunities, and building partnerships that last.

What You’ll Be Doing

Own the full sales cycle – from engagement to close.
Achieve (and beat) annual gross margin targets.
Build and maintain a strong, accurate sales pipeline in our CRM.
Create territory plans that uncover new opportunities and drive results.
Develop powerful relationships with key vendors and their management teams.
Keep ahead of the competition – positioning us as the partner of choice.
Work cross-functionally to open doors for other business units.
Construct commercially strong deals that maximise revenue recognition.

What You Bring

Experience working with commercial and/or public sector customers.
Strong vendor engagement skills and an understanding of ISVs.
Knowledge of purchasing and budgeting processes.
Proven track record in selling software licensing solutions.
Confidence in creating compelling solutions to customer challenges – in writing and in person.
Organised, systematic, and able to juggle multiple priorities.
Ideally, vendor-aligned certifications to show your expertise.
