Role: Business Analyst

Location : London, UK (Hybrid)

Role Type: Contract (Inside IR35)

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Prior work experience with AWM / Capital Markets operations.
• Analyze and improve BAU operations.
• Ask insightful questions to understand and challenge existing processes.
• Capture, document, and enhance operational procedures.
• Assess and understand the team structure to identify opportunities for efficiency.
• Explore and propose automated alert mechanisms to streamline processing.
• Familiar with using Jira and creating EPICs and Stories with Structured Acceptance criteria styles to assist Dev and QA
• Data mapping, Ingestion, Curation, Modelling and what systems the exposure refers to (i.e Snowflake, Cloudera, Phoenix etc).
• Moving to Agile aspect, I would want to see examples of methodologies the candidate has worked across i.e Kanban, Scrum and familiar with working in a scrum and reference to performing Analysis refinement sessions/3 amigo sessions with Devs and QA.

Skills & Experience:

• Strong knowledge of Custody and Financial Services.
• Experience in area of Asset Management
• SWP Functionality Preferred (Though BA can gather information while analyzing).
• Experience in process improvement and business analysis.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with stakeholders.
