Senior Care Assistant (Days): £15.50 per hour
36 hrs per week - 08:00am - 21:00pm
Location: St Teresa's Care Home, South Kensington, London SW7 03PW

About the Role:
As a Senior Care Assistant you will act as a role model by leading and supervising the care team. You will promote high standards of person centred care by ensuring all team members are trained and supervised appropriately and you will communicate professionally and warmly with visitors, family members and other health care professionals.
This role includes:
- Digital Care Planning (writing, updating and reviewing)
- Medication Administration, ordering and booking in (EMARS)
- Conducting supervisions and appraisals
- Admitting new residents
- Supervising high performing teams
- Completing handovers
- Inducting new staff
- Liaising with health professionals and relatives
- Supporting residents with high quality care
Essentials:
- Knowledge of developing digital Care Plans
- Requirements of latest care standards and relevant legislation
- Previous experience working in an elderly residential care
- Ability to work flexible hours and weekends
- Previous supervisory experience
- Excellent IT Skills
Minimum required experience to apply:
- Minimum of 12 months Supervisory experience in an elderly care home
- At least 12 months previous experience in a senior HCA level role
- At least 12 months experience in Medication Administration
Required certifications:
- NVQ Level 3
- Certified medication training - advanced level
