Do you have digital channel experience? AXA UK’s Internal Communications team are looking for a natural leader to be the key interface between the internal communications team and internal and external partners to ensure our channels are fit for purpose, up to date and running well.

You’ll support the design and implementation of our business goals and play a role in the development of our people. You’ll advise stakeholders on how to adopt and get best usage from our channels and staying up to date with latest developments in channels and communication tools.

At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) towards the end of 2025. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Responsible for the delivery, development, governance and management of our internal communications digital channels used for communications to colleagues.
  • Business ownership of internal digital channels and related tools.
  • Maintain and develop expertise in all internal digital tools and channels, actively investigate and experiment.
  • Monitor internal digital channels and collaboration tools to proactively identify issues with usability or stability.
  • Identify opportunities for improvements to existing, or the introduction of new, tools or channels.
  • Provide direction, creation of guidance, onboarding, training and support for channel users.
  • Accountability for digital channels and collaboration tools, including the management of budget spend for the operation of owned channels.

What you’ll bring:

  • Proven leader in managing internal communication channels and tools, familiarity with external communication tools and platforms.
  • Highly competent with the full Microsoft 365 collaboration toolset, including SharePoint, Teams, Viva Engage, Forms, Office365 groups.
  • Technically minded and literate and able to quickly investigate, learn and understand tools, provide end user support, guidance and troubleshooting.
  • Expert at analysing and manipulating raw data to provide management information and produce reports for key stakeholders.
  • Experience of writing self-help, internal communications and training materials.
  • Confident inputting into and supporting the delivery of internal communications campaigns and projects, collaborating closely with the business and colleagues.
  • Self-starter with an attention to detail and ability to prioritise and manage own workload.
  • Previous experience working in a corporate organisation of similar size and complexity.


As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.

This position has been defined as an Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD) role under the IDD regime which means that in addition to pre-employment screening checks, the successful candidate will be subject to background screening every 4 years with an annual declaration in interim years.
