The Senior Client Delivery Manager (SCDM) is a delivery expert who will collaborate with the Sales team, providing them with delivery expertise, and supporting commercial and business development demands.

Drawing on your experience of delivering a range of projects, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful, high-quality, and timely delivery of services and projects to clients. This position combines strategic oversight with hands-on leadership, managing the full project lifecycle while fostering strong client relationships and driving organic growth within accounts.

Acting as the primary point of contact, you will anticipate and respond to evolving client needs, support FDM consultants throughout their deployment, and serve as the critical link between a client’s vision and its successful execution by the FDM team.

Responsibilities

Act as the primary strategic partner for key clients, understanding their goals, shaping requirements, ensuring delivery against objectives, and expanding relationships to drive organic growth

Lead and develop cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality projects and services on time, within budget, and to scope, providing strategic and technical expertise to build and sustain high‑performing teams

Manage financial performance across key accounts by safeguarding and improving margins and tracking budgets. Identify opportunities for upselling and organic growth while ensuring profitable, sustainable delivery

Lead, mentor, and coach Delivery and Project Managers to foster a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement

Continuously improve delivery processes to ensure services meet time, cost, scope, and quality standards, while guiding teams on best practices

Proactively manage risks and issues across accounts and projects to maintain strong governance and uphold industry‑leading standards

Support Go‑to‑Market activities by defining scope, required skills, and delivery estimates

Contribute to the creation of Statements of Work (SOWs), Change Control Notices (CCNs), and formal tender responses to ensure proposals are accurate, competitive, and aligned with client needs

Deliver engaging presentations and workshops for clients and internal stakeholders, acting as a confident public speaker and thought leader while creating impactful content and lead knowledge‑sharing sessions to promote best practices and drive innovation

Requirements

10+ years’ experience in project/programme delivery within technical digital transformation
Track record of managing accounts and large-scale teams
Experience in client-facing leadership roles within consulting or professional services
Commercial acumen with proven success in margin management and account growth
Experienced in developing client proposals and strategies to maximise ROI
Relevant professional certifications
Proven ability to deliver complex technical digital transformation projects and programmes
Expertise in managing client engagements and building strong relationships with strong leadership and team management skills, including technical teams
Exceptional communication and presentation skills
Skilled in networking and promoting FDM’s brand

Desirable

Sector knowledge in financial services, technology, or regulated industries
