This role will be for a senior business development / client development manager working with a mix of existing spending clients and new business opportunities.

Role Overview

The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate strong experience in influencing Construction based clients across a broad section of job roles from Technical co-ordinators, project managers and commercial and technical directors. The role requires strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise workload. The role will be a mix of client meetings in person, over teams and phone and email work as expected. Excellent written and telephone communication skills are a must. Experience of project management is essential and the ability to drive and manage communication at high level is also needed. There will be project support from a quoting and tendering perspective but, at times, the candidate will need to generate quotations and seek costings from within the business and via our network of external partners in order to present propositions to the market place.

Up to £65k with OTE first year £20k

Key Tasks

Generate new business and revenue growth (existing accounts) in line with Company sales & revenue targets. Represent the Company vision with a mix of F2F client contact and teams, email and phone calls. Manage overall client revenue spend and liaise with client support and project delivery to manage affective communication. Liaison with partners to gather fee proposals. Management of sales data for reporting purposes. Communicate with clients on account management topics such as overdue invoices, complex financial disputes. Generate, and for some clients, issue and follow up quotations and tender returns in response to client enquiries, to secure new orders.

Qualifications & Experience

Competence on CRM systems, excel etc

Navigating complex construction tender opportunities

Comfortable with clients across broad range of job roles

Experience of hitting and exceeding targets in year 1 and building from there

Experience at achieving this in more than 1 sales role within a construction-based field
