Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Clinical Coder located in the Greater Cardiff Area. The Senior Clinical Coder will be responsible for accurately coding medical records and ensuring compliance with relevant coding standards. Daily tasks include reviewing patient records, extracting and coding clinical data, collaborating with healthcare professionals for accurate data interpretation, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of coding guidelines and regulations.

Qualifications

• Coding Experience and Medical Coding skills
• RHIT and Health Information Management skills
• Proficiency in Medical Terminology
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Relevant certification such as Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or CCS
• Previous experience in a similar role within a healthcare setting is advantageous
