This is an exceptional opportunity for a suitably qualified individual to join the Neonatal Unit at University Hospital Lewisham as a full-time Senior Clinical Fellow. This 6-month, fixed-term position, starting on September 1, 2025, is a replacement post designed for a candidate eager to enhance their skills within a dynamic Local Neonatal Unit. The successful candidate will be fully integrated into the Neonatal Intensive Care Specialist Trainee rotation, providing an ideal platform to continue meeting and advancing their training and educational objectives while fulfilling their clinical responsibilities.

The Senior Clinical Fellow will share the responsibility with the Specialist Trainees for the day-to-day running of the Neonatal Department. They will also be responsible for developing their skills and will report to Consultant Paediatrician Joanna Lawrence. The post holder will be expected to organize themselves, manage their time and tasks, and prioritize clinical needs. They will also need to be able to coordinate and support junior colleagues and work in multi-disciplinary teams. An interest and experience in teaching, including case presentations, is also essential.
