Further to recent growth and development within our Clinical Leadership Team, an exciting opportunity as arisen for a Senior Clinical Responder to join us on a full time, permanent basis.
Reporting to Head of ACPs and ECPs, you will work in partnership with the Operational and Clinical Management Teams providing seamless leadership and ensuring development and therefore continuity of the service, communication, decision making and service improvement projects. The post holder will ensure high standards of care and provide clinical and non-clinical support to the Clinical Responder Team comprising a diverse range blend of healthcare professionals.
The post holder will be expected to work a variety of hours during office hours and during the out of hours period including weekends, weekday evenings and bank holidays. This enables the post holder to have a working knowledge of all clinical and non-clinical scenarios to manage and develop the Clinical Responder Team expertly and effectively. You will work a selection of office hours to deliver the Senior (leadership) element of the role. Clinical leadership of staff will also take place as required both in and out of hours to enable supervision and support to staff within the clinical setting.
Your key roles and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Working as Clinical Responder expert and role model for delivery of care at the highest level and be prepared for ongoing personal development.
- Working closely with the Clinical Leadership Team and take responsibility for managing the Clinical Responder Team providing clinical support, mentoring and feedback.
- Supporting the Clinical Leadership Team to ensure effective line management of the team.
- Supporting the retention and recruitment of staff.
- Assisting with the management of staff absence in accordance with policy.
- Undertaking 1:1 meetings and appraisals with team members in line with the appraisal policy.
- Supporting with the identification and planning of development opportunities within the role.
- Monitoring team performance both informally and formally through personal development plans and through compliance with key performance indicators
