About The Team

Our Commercial Finance team plays a crucial role in driving the success of the business by managing budgets, forecasting performance, and providing strategic insights. We ensure financial stability and support our business partners in decision-making.

The Impact You’ll Have

Supporting loveholidays’ mission to open the world to everyone, this is a newly created, high-profile role, acting as the dedicated finance business partner to our vital Supply Team—the function responsible for all our relationships with hotels, airlines, and ancillary service providers. The creation of this role is driven by a key strategic initiative to deliver our customers the best choice of holiday packages at the best price. At a pivotal moment in our growth journey, we continue to increase our multi-million pound upfront investment with hotels and airlines and this role will lead on providing the financial stewardship and strategic guidance for this fund.

This is a great opportunity to build out a role, designing and implementing the financial frameworks, processes, and analytics that will directly influence our commercial success and competitive advantage. It’s a fast-paced role and requires a structured thinker and strong problem solver that can integrate themselves within this area of the business and take the lead on strategic decision-making.

The role is based in Hammersmith, London and will report to the Head of Finance Business Partnering, with close ties to FP&A, the VP of Commercial Finance, CFO and senior leaders in the Supply Organisation.

  • Understand the relationship between trading performance and supply, delivering insight and actionable recommendations.
  • Build influential relationships across the Supply function, embedding yourself within the team to become the go-to expert for all financial matters and supporting them in strategic negotiations and decision-making.
  • Develop and own the robust financial framework for the multi-million pound supply investment fund, from initial proposal to post-investment review, including leading on financial due diligence on all proposed upfront investments.
  • Partner with the Supply team to structure deals, evaluate risk, and present compelling business cases to the executive leadership team for approval.
  • Establish and manage a tracking and reporting process to monitor the performance of deployed capital against budget, performance of commercial deals and effectiveness of Supply strategy.
  • Support the month end process by providing commercial insight and commentary, and assessing risks and opportunities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and projects

Your Skillset

  • Qualified Accountant (minimum 4+ years post qual)

  • Experience working with high volumes of data with the aptitude to understand vast and complex information, and convey in a simple, clear and concise manner
  • A genuine self-starter with a proactive mindset. You are comfortable with ambiguity and thrive on the challenge of building new capabilities in a 'greenfield' setting.
  • Strong commercial acumen and a clear understanding of the key levers that drive profitability.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with a proven ability to influence, challenge, and support senior non-finance leaders.
